In anticipation of PRIDE 35, join a panel of Queer storytellers for a cruise through the people, places, and events that developed Edmonton’s LGBTQ* community. Flashback to stories untold: scandal, sex, intrigue, friendship, faith, fear, music, arts, culture, and politics. Long before the days of equal marriage, travel back in time and preview the building of a historical collaboration between the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies & Services, the Edmonton Pride Festival Society, the Edmonton Heritage Council, and the City of Edmonton. We invite you to bring your own stories, photos, and archives of Edmonton’s queer past to help us reflect, remember, and preserve this often hidden part of our city’s history.
