Art Gallery of Alberta

What’s Ahead this January at your AGA

Now is the perfect time to start planning the first month of 2017! Your AGA has an exciting lineup of weekly drop-in activities, registered classes, after work pop-up live music, film nights, artist talks and more.

This January, we open our newest exhibition: Survival Guide. Featuring photographic, print, sculpture, video and performance artworks, Survival Guide examines strategies for survival within a contemporary art context. In conjunction with the exhibition we are organizing special programming and education classes. The first event of the series takes place on Saturday, January 28, where exhibition artists Scott Rogers, Brendan Michal Heshka and Patrick Cruz will hold artist talks and performances in the gallery space.

Visitors of all ages and artistic experience can join in and have fun this month at your AGA!
